REASONS TO HAVE AN ATM AT YOUR ESABLISHMENT

  • Increased Sales – ATM’s allow your customers to access all of their available cash from bank cards, credit cards, etc., so when customers have more money, they spend more money. A study done by 7-Eleven and Convenience Store Decisions Magazine show 10% to 20% of the money withdrawn from an ATM is spent in that store.
  • Control bad debt – Cash does not bounce. When a customer uses cash from an ATM, it cuts down the charge backs, disputes, bad checks and the stress associated with these.
  • Security – Having an ATM there is less risk of robbery and employee theft.
  • Reduce costs – By directing your customers to the ATM, you can greatly reduce credit card fees you are currently paying.
  • Save time – An ATM can save customer embarrassment and employees time.
  • Improved Image – By providing new and unique services to your patrons, your image is improved. One reason people patronize your store is value. An ATM only adds to the overall value of your store.
  • Increase customers – Your customers will no longer have to stop at your competitors to get cash (and spend it there). You will have customers stopping at your place of business because you can accommodate their needs.
  • Increased profits – With transaction commission, you can earn some extra cash. The real profit comes from the additional sales from the thousands of extra dollars available in your store.

How It Works

  • Area Amusements installs the machine and it is bolted to the floor or wall for security.
  • A dedicated phone line and jack must be installed, at your expense, and a power outlet must be available.
  • Area Amusements will stock the machine with cash, maintain its balance, provide signage, repair the machine if it malfunctions, and maintain all transactions with the ATM coordinator, bank and all bookkeeping involved.
  • The standard arrangement includes our purchase and maintenance of the machine and paying you a commission of .50 cents per withdrawal transaction. Commissions are paid to you by check on a monthly basis.
